Paradise Is Closer to You Than Your Shoelace
Sahih al-Bukhari · 6488·Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA)
الْجَنَّةُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ شِرَاكِ نَعْلِهِ، وَالنَّارُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ
Transliteration
Al-jannatu aqrabu ila ahadikum min shiraki na'lih, wan-naru mithlu dhalik
Translation
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "Paradise is nearer to any of you than the strap of his sandal, and so is the Fire."
