He Is Not of Us Who Does Not Show Mercy to Our Young or Respect Our Elders

لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا
Transliteration
Laysa minna man lam yarham saghirana wa yuwaqqir kabirana
Translation
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (RA): An old man came to speak to the Prophet (SAW), and the people were slow to make room for him. The Prophet (SAW) said, "He is not one of us who does not have mercy on our young and does not respect our elders."
