I Was Not Sent to Curse — I Was Sent as a Mercy

إِنِّي لَمْ أُبْعَثْ لَعَّانًا وَإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ رَحْمَةً
Transliteration
Inni lam ub'ath la''ana, wa innama bu'ithtu rahmah
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): It was said to the Messenger of Allah (SAW), "Invoke a curse upon the polytheists." He said, "I was not sent as one who curses; I was only sent as a mercy."
