Beware the Supplication of the Oppressed

Sahih al-Bukhari · 2448·Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA)

اتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ

Transliteration

Ittaqi da'watal-mazlum, fa-innaha laysa baynaha wa baynallahi hijab

Translation

Narrated Ibn Abbas (RA): When the Prophet (SAW) sent Mu'adh to Yemen, he said, "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah."
