7 authentic duas
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbi ishrah li sadri wa yassir li amri wahlul 'uqdatan min lisani yafqahu qawli
My Lord, expand for me my chest, ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
Open this duaرَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Allahumma-nfa'ni bima 'allamtani wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni wa zidni 'ilma
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
Open this duaسُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
Subhanaka la 'ilma lana illa ma 'allamtana, innaka antal-'alimul-hakim
Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise.
Open this duaوَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ
Wa ma tawfiqi illa billah, 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa ilayhi unib
And my success is not but through Allah. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him I return.
Open this duaاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa', wa min qalbin la yakhsha', wa min nafsin la tashba', wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not fear You, a soul that is never satisfied, and a supplication that is not answered.
Open this duaاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an wa rizqan tayyiban wa 'amalan mutaqabbala
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
