جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ أَحَقُّ بِحُسْنِ صَحَابَتِي قَالَ أُمُّكَ. قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ أُمُّكَ. قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ أُمُّكَ. قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَبُوكَ

Transliteration

Ja'a rajulun ila rasulillah faqala: ya rasulallah, man ahaqqu bi-husni sahabati? Qala: ummuk. Qala: thumma man? Qala: ummuk. Qala: thumma man? Qala: ummuk. Qala: thumma man? Qala: thumma abuk

Translation

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): A man came to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is most entitled to my good companionship?" He said, "Your mother." The man said, "Then who?" He said, "Your mother." The man said, "Then who?" He said, "Your mother." The man said, "Then who?" He said, "Then your father."
