Whoever Sees an Evil, Let Him Change It

✓ Sahih
Sahih Muslim · 49·Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (RA)

Transliteration

Man ra'a minkum munkaran falyughayyirhu biyadih, fa-in lam yastati' fabilisanih, fa-in lam yastati' fabiqalbih, wa dhalika ad'aful-iman

Translation

Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith."

Practice This Today

When you see something wrong today, do what is within your power — act, speak up wisely, or at least hate it in your heart and make dua.
