Sahih al-Bukhari · 55·Narrated by Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (RA)
إِذَا أَنْفَقَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ يَحْتَسِبُهَا فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ
Transliteration
Idha anfaqar-rajulu 'ala ahlihi yahtasibuha fahuwa lahu sadaqah
Translation
Narrated Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "When a man spends on his family seeking Allah's reward, it is counted as charity for him."
