When People Speak Well of the Deceased
مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ فَيَقُومُ عَلَى جَنَازَتِهِ أَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا شَفَّعَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيهِ
Transliteration
Ma min muslimin yamutu fayaqumu 'ala janazatihi arba'una rajulan la yushrikuna billahi shay'an illa shaffa'ahumulLahu fih
Translation
Narrated Ibn Abbas (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, 'If any Muslim dies and forty men who associate nothing with Allah stand over his funeral prayer, Allah will accept their intercession for him.'
