Hajj Is Obligatory Once — Do Not Burden Yourself Beyond That

Sahih
Sahih Muslim · 1337·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)

Transliteration

Translation

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, 'O people, Allah has made Hajj obligatory for you, so perform it.' A man said, 'Every year, O Messenger of Allah?' He remained silent until he asked three times, then said, 'If I had said yes, it would become obligatory and you would not be able to do it.'

Practice This Today

If Hajj is obligatory on you and you are able, make firm intention to go. If you have performed it, cherish it and live the transformation it brought.
