Friday — The Best Day of the Week
خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ
Transliteration
Khayru yawmin tala'at 'alayhish-shamsu yawmul-jum'ah, fihi khuliqa Adamu wa fihi udkhilal-jannah wa fihi ukhrija minha wa la taqumus-sa'atu illa fi yawmil-jum'ah
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, 'The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted to Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on a Friday.'
Practice This Today
On Fridays: send abundant salawat on the Prophet (SAW), read Surah al-Kahf, and look for the blessed hour of accepted du'a between Asr and Maghrib.
