When Ramadan Begins, the Gates of Paradise Are Opened

إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ

Transliteration

Idha ja'a Ramadanu futtihat abwabul-jannati wa ghulliqat abwabun-nari wa suffidat ash-shayatin

Translation

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, 'When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.'
