Allah Has No Need of a Fast Kept With Lies and Evil Deeds
Sahih al-Bukhari · 1903·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)
مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ
Transliteration
Man lam yada' qawlaz-zuri wal-'amala bihi falaysa lillahi hajatun fi an yada'a ta'amahu wa sharabah
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of his leaving his food and drink."
