Your Dua Is Answered as Long as You Are Not Hasty
Sahih al-Bukhari · 6340·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)
يُسْتَجَابُ لأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ يَقُولُ دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي
Transliteration
Yustajabu li-ahadikum ma lam ya'jal, yaqulu: da'awtu falam yustajab li
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he is not hasty, saying, 'I supplicated, but I was not answered.'"
