Allah Is Too Generous to Return Empty Hands

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى حَيِيٌّ كَرِيمٌ يَسْتَحِي مِنْ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَرُدَّهُمَا صِفْرًا

Transliteration

Inna Rabbakum tabaraka wa ta'ala Hayyun Karimun, yastahee min 'abdihi idha rafa'a yadayhi ilayhi an yaruddahuma sifra

Translation

Narrated Salman al-Farisi (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, 'Verily, your Lord — Blessed and Exalted — is Generous and Modest. He is too modest to return the hands of His servant empty when he raises them to Him.'
