✓ Sahih
Sahih Muslim · 251·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)

Transliteration

Ala adullukum 'ala ma yamhullahu bihil-khataya wa yarfa'u bihid-darajat? Qalu: bala ya rasulallah. Qal: isbaghul-wudu'i 'alal-makarih, wa kathratul-khuta ilal-masajid, wantizarus-salati ba'das-salah, fadhalikumur-ribat

Translation

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Shall I not tell you of that by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Performing wudu thoroughly despite difficulty, taking many steps to the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer — that is ribat [steadfast guarding]."

Practice This Today

Make a careful wudu even if it's cold or you're tired, and walk to the masjid for one prayer this week.
