Sahih Bukhari · 6682·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)

Transliteration

Kalimatāni khafīfatāni 'alal-lisān, thaqīlatāni fil-mīzān, ḥabībatāni ilar-Raḥmān: Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih, Subḥānallāhil-'Aẓīm

Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Two words are light on the tongue but heavy on the Scale and dear to the Most Merciful: Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih (Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him); Subḥānallāhil-'Aẓīm (Glory be to Allah, the Most Great).'

Practice This Today

Make it a habit to say 'Subḥānallāhi wa biḥamdih, Subḥānallāhil-'Aẓīm' throughout your day — light on the tongue, mighty on the Scale.
