Two Muslims Who Shake Hands Are Forgiven Before They Part
Sunan Abu Dawud · 5212·Narrated by Al-Bara' ibn Azib (RA)
مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيَتَصَافَحَانِ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا
Transliteration
Ma min muslimayni yaltaqiyani fayatasafahan illa ghufira lahuma qabla an yaftariqa
Translation
Narrated al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, 'No two Muslims meet and shake hands except that they are forgiven before they part.'
