Never Belittle a Gift From Your Neighbour
Sahih al-Bukhari · 2566·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)
يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا، وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ
Transliteration
Ya nisa'al-muslimat, la tahqiranna jaratun li-jaratiha walaw firsina shah
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "O Muslim women! None of you should belittle [a gift] from her neighbour, even if it is the trotter of a sheep."
