Those Closest to the Prophet on Judgement Day Are Best in Character
إِنَّ مِنْ أَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَىَّ وَأَقْرَبِكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَحَاسِنَكُمْ أَخْلاَقًا وَإِنَّ أَبْغَضَكُمْ إِلَىَّ وَأَبْعَدَكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الثَّرْثَارُونَ وَالْمُتَشَدِّقُونَ وَالْمُتَفَيْهِقُونَ
Transliteration
Inna min ahabbikum ilayya wa aqrabikum minni majlisan yawmal-qiyamati ahasinakum akhlaqa, wa inna abghadakum ilayya wa ab'adakum minni majlisan yawmal-qiyamatith-thartharuna wal-mutashaddiquna wal-mutafayhiqun
Translation
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The most beloved of you to me and the nearest to me in seating on the Day of Resurrection are those of you best in character. And the most disliked of you to me and the furthest from me on the Day of Resurrection are the prattlers, the boasters and the mutafayhiqun." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we know the prattlers and the boasters, but who are the mutafayhiqun?" He said, "The arrogant."
