Caring for Widows and the Poor Is Like Jihad and Night Prayer
السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ كَالَّذِي يَصُومُ النَّهَارَ وَيَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ
Transliteration
As-sa'i 'alal-armalati wal-miskini kal-mujahidi fi sabilillah, aw kalladhi yasumun-nahara wa yaqumul-layl
Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "The one who looks after and works for a widow and a poor person is like one who strives in the cause of Allah, or like one who fasts during the day and prays all night."
