Dua for Forgiveness of Mistakes, Ignorance and Excess

Transliteration

Rabbighfir li khati'ati wa jahli wa israfi fi amri kullihi, wa ma anta a'lamu bihi minni. Allahummaghfir li khatayaya wa 'amdi wa jahli wa hazli, wa kullu dhalika 'indi. Allahummaghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lantu, antal-muqaddimu wa antal-mu'akhkhiru wa anta 'ala kulli shay'in qadir

Translation

My Lord, forgive me my sins, my ignorance and my excess in all my affairs, and what You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my mistakes, what I did deliberately, my ignorance and my jesting — all of that is in me. O Allah, forgive me what I have done before and what I have left for later, what I have concealed and what I have done openly. You are the One who brings forward and the One who puts back, and You are over all things competent.
