Every Drop of Wudu Carries Away a Sin

Sahih
Sahih Muslim · 244·Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (RA)

Translation

Abu Huraira (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, 'When a Muslim — or a believer — washes his face in the performance of wudu, every sin which he committed with his eyes is washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water. When he washes his hands, every sin his hands committed comes out with the water, or with the last drop of water, until he finally emerges purified from all his sins.'

Practice This Today

Make every wudu a conscious act of spiritual cleansing — not just physical ritual. As you wash each limb, intend for the sins of that limb to be washed away.
